Kyu Shin is a NYC based Scenic Designer for Theatre, originally from South Korea. He has designed sets for Gruesome Play Injuries (New workshop Theatre), The Rimers of Eldritch (Whitman Theatre), Clybourne Park (Whitman Theatre), Fast in Fire (Theatre for the New City), 19 (Schaprio Theatre-Colombia Univ.), Shulamit (JCC Manhattan), The Tuotors (Kraine Theatre), and Unmentionables (Theatre 54).
The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) ensures the future vitality of musical theatre by nurturing the creation, production, and public presentation of stylistically, thematically, and culturally diverse new musicals. The largest annual musical theatre event in America, the Festival presents productions each summer in the heart of New York City's Theatre District, along with an array of readings, concerts, and other special events.
